Dr. Gary Waltemath Experienced Dentist
Dr Waltemath has been practicing as a dentist in Nashville for over 40 years. He grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and attended Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee where he earned a bachelor of science degree. He then attended Emory University School of Dentistry where he graduated in the top of his class and was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. He began his practice as a dentist in 1974 and later partnered with Dr Cromwell Tidwell and this practice has provided family dentistry to 4 generations of Nashvillians since 1946.
Dr Waltemath is active in his profession as a lifetime member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Society, and the Nashville Dental Society where he has previously served on the peer review committee. He is also a member and officer in the Volunteer Dental Study group and has been awarded a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr Waltemath is a member of Saint George's Episcopal Church where he has served as an usher and greeter and past member of the Saint George's Kindergarten Board. He is married to Luanne and has 3 married children and 8 grandchildren. He enjoys reading, visiting his grandchildren, travel, golf and fitness. When he is not in the dental office or on the golf course, he can be found working in his yard.
