A lot of people love teeth whitening. We have two methods of doing that. We make trays, custom trays, and they're take-home trays. You put one dot of solution in the tray, and you wear it for only 15 minutes. And then you do that every day until you get the desired whitening effect that you want. Our general rule of thumb is to not get the teeth whiter than the whites of the eyes.
We also, for people that don't have the patience to do a tray every single night, an in-office whitening. It's called Zoom. People love this, especially if you're getting ready for a wedding, a graduation, and you want immediate results. You walk in and you walk out like six shades lighter. And it's a two-hour appointment, and you put solution on, you take it off, solution on, you take it off, three times, and you're white. All whitenings are considered semi-permanent, so if you did the Zoom, you might want to maybe, in several months, do a take-home tray whitening.
One common question about teeth whitening that we get is if you need restorative work, if you need fillings in the front, or if you need crowns, you need to whiten first, and get your restorations made to match your new color. So that's a good one.
