Same-Day Dental Crowns

A dental crown is a restoration that fits over an entire tooth. And we really like to do here is use the CEREC technology to make your dental crown in about an hour and a half or two hours the maximum. That way you get your crown in one visit. You don't have to get a temporary. You don't have to come back for a second visit. It's all done at one time. And that way you can go ahead and start chewing, and eating, and smiling, or whatever with your new tooth. Good candidates for a crown are teeth that are broken, or have large cavities in them, or they have older fillings that either have broken, or have large cavities in them or teeth that have had root canals in the past, or teeth that are discolored and just need a cosmetic makeover in order to make someone's smile look nicer. We like for our dental crowns to last a very long time here. The care for a dental crown is just like any other tooth. You brush them, you floss them, and they should last you a very long time if you take care of them.
