Cost of Dental Implants
Dental implants are an investment in your health and quality of life that can last a lifetime with proper care and maintenance.
However, many patients don't look into this tooth replacement solution because they worry the cost of dental implants may be prohibitive.
At Iroquois Dentistry in Nashville, TN, we have affordable options and payment plans to meet each patient's budget and unique needs.
So, what can I expect to pay for implants?
All-Inclusive Dental Implant Prices Start at $5,100
The cost of dental implants depends primarily on the extent of treatment you require. At the lower end of the price spectrum, we can bundle the dental services and appointments required to replace a single missing tooth with an implant-supported crown for as low as $5,100. Dental implant costs increase if we need to replace multiple missing teeth, as this results in the need for additional surgical time, more abutments and implants, and a larger dental restoration.

Dental Implant Cost Factors

Choice of Surgeon
In general, a more experienced dentist or surgeon using the latest tools and methods will charge more than a less experienced surgeon using a less sophisticated approach. However, it is important to remember that this experience and technology can ensure that your procedure is safe, that your replacement teeth feel secure and natural, and that you experience long-lasting results.

Advanced Technology
The most accurate diagnoses can be obtained through digital diagnostic imaging. At our practice in Nashville, our dentists routinely use CT scans, surgical guides, digital impressions, and CEREC® custom restorations for your convenience, safety, and long-term satisfaction. This dental technology results in costlier treatment, but it can minimize the risks of surgery and help to provide exceptional results.

Preparatory Procedures
Each and every implant patient who walks through our door is unique. Therefore, no two treatment plans will be the same. In order for implant placement to be successful in the long term, preparatory dental procedures may be necessary in some cases to improve the health of the teeth and gums.
For example, if you have tooth decay or periodontal disease, these problems need to be addressed before continuing with implant treatment. Some patients may lack adequate jawbone density to support an implant. In these instances, a bone grafting procedure may be required to add volume to the jawbone.

Type of Restoration
Another significant factor associated with the cost of dental implants is the type of restoration attached. Dental implants are quite versatile and can support crowns, bridges, and dentures. The type and quantity of dental materials used in the fabrication of your restoration will be reflected in your treatment fees.
Replacing one tooth with a single crown will cost less than replacing several teeth with an implant-supported bridge, and a bridge will cost less than an implant-supported denture. As a general rule, the more teeth you are replacing, the more your treatment will cost.
