Meet Dr. Glover
Dr. Joseph Talton Glover (Jody) completed his undergraduate studies in four years with honors at the University of Alabama. He then went directly into dental school where graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry and received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. During dental school, Jody served as Vice President for his class, performed dental mission work in Kenya, and served as a student mentor for the University of Alabama School of Dentistry Leadership Council.
After dental school, Dr. Glover completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at the highly regarded Foundry Dental Center in Birmingham, Alabama. It was here where he discovered his passion for cosmetic and implant dentistry. Through the residency program, he received advanced training in the fields of Implant Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry, IV sedation, oral surgery, implant placement and restoration, prosthodontics, endodontics, and restorative and preventive dentistry. This program gave him access to over 800 hundred hours of Continuing Education training particularly in the fields of cosmetic and implant dentistry. This also licensed Dr. Glover in IV sedation for those patients with dental fears and anxieties, a license only a select number of dentists have in the entire state.
Through Dr. Glover’s unique training, he has the ability to comprehensively treat patients through all surgical and restorative needs which allows him to be with the patient throughout the entire process.
Since dental school and residency Dr. Glover has yearly pursued 300 plus hours of Continuing Education courses focused in the fields of Cosmetic Dentistry, Implant Dentistry, Full Mouth Rehabilitation, complex bone grafting and IV Sedation.
Dr. Glover is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the Tennessee Dental Association.
Dr. Glover seeks to provide the highest standard of comprehensive dental care while developing trust, confidence, and a lasting relationship with each of his patients. Dr. Glover is a native of Alabama, but is excited to settle down and develop roots in the Nashville community. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and spending time outdoors with his dog, Jazz.
